RebornOS's speed in a VM

Hi all,
I recently tried the RebornOS live iso in a VM and I’m a bit baffled by how fast it’s running. I’ve tried countless OSs in VMs on my lowly i7 920 and they all run slow if it has a GUI. I usually gauge how fast an OS is by how “laggy” or “choppy” the mouse movement is. The only one that was tolerable on my machine was TinyCore for obvious reasons until now. RebornOS has ZERO lag as far as mouse movement goes and runs fast overall. What is it doing to achieve this? Things like video playback on YouTube is still terrible on this machine but, overall I’m really floored and not understanding how it’s this fast in a VM, on my slow machine, being a medium weight distro. :face_with_monocle:
Whatever you guys did to program it that way needs to become the new standard. Kudos to the devs! :clinking_glasses:
