Hi @ all.
As mentioned above i’m from germany, in fact from saxony.
I did intense distrohopping for about, hmmm, 15 years? Switched back to windows for the sake of hassle free gaming in between and enjoyed that, too, until programs that worked for a while refused to start or lost functions (eg MSI Afterburner wasn’t able to control the fans of my Rx570 anymore after some windows updates, radeon-profile on the other hand does).
When the vortex mod manager caused on bsod after the other while working flawlessly before and the system protocols couldn’t give me a real clue to this, either, i decided to switch back to linux.
Tried Garuda, Endeavour and Mint again and then stumbled over Reborn. Again.
Installed it with cinnamon and was blown away by it’s speed and responsiveness. Garuda with its performance tweaks approach and endeavour with its rather minimalistic one didn’t even get close.
Not sure what you do different but, as i said, the speed of your distribution blows my mind atm.
Think i’ll stick around here for a while.
Thnx for the effort.
