Fail to install RebornOs

I can’t install Reborn os on the virtual machine

so far I haven’t had any problems with an installation,
regardless of whether it’s the standard or development ISO

Hi @progamer6562 , I am sorry for the issues that you are facing. Please obtain a refreshed ISO from here: https://rebornos.discourse.group/t/updated-iso

Ok bro!I will try tomorrow if it works! But until you wrote this,I tried another iso fromhttps://sourceforge.net/projects/rebornos/ and I used online installed but didn’t worked and offline installer finally worked. After I installed,I used sudo pacman -Syu to update system today and I got stuck to terminal and anything didn’t work. After 5-10 minutes to wait,I made a decision to reboot and I saw these errors after I rebooted
This picture is from web which is a similar situation. The final word is not “found”

Hi @progamer6562 , I would recommend using the latest ISO that I posted on the Forum here. Also, the specific error message that you got is what would tell me what the problem is.

I installed (I think an old iso from Source forge) today and after installing I installed updates by using sudo pacman -Syu command and at middle installation the system got stuck and never worked until reboot.I rebooted and got error which says you need to load the kernel first.
But when I downloaded the old iso (at 12 o 'clock) I didn’t found an updated iso for 2024 here (on Forum) and on the web

Edit:I think I rebooted while updating the kernel

Hello, I installed this version of “https://rebornos.discourse.group/t/updated-iso” and after selecting the language the program freezes at the moment of selecting the country. The “next” and “back” buttons do not respond at all. What to do?

Hi @fiery_lemur_73436 This is likely caused because of the partition module having an issue. Would you be able to use gparted (on the ISO on the bottom panel), to clear out a partition (where you want to install RebornOS), apply changes, and then reboot? After the reboot, launch the installer and wait for 2 minutes for the next button to appear.

Could you describe the solution to the problem more clearly, I’m just not a programmer, I didn’t understand anything

@fiery_lemur_73436 Are you planning to install RebornOS on a whole empty HDD/SSD or on a specific partition of it? Do you already have data on there that you would like to save?

I plan to install on ssd, empty. Do I understand correctly that I need to format the ssd and then it will let me through?

Assuming your SSD is already empty (based on what you said), if you can delete all partitions on it, it should load quicker. You can just wait 2 minutes for the next button to appear. This delay is related to KPMCore which is used in the installer.

yes, but if you had OpenSuse installed before, you need to create a new partition table
on the SSD with the partition manager. The partition manager can be started within the live system …
