Was looking to return to an Arch-based distro and chose RebornOS specifically because it had an option to install E directly during installation. Was this intentional, an oversight, a bad omen for the future?
I know I can still install with no DE, but that means I cannot simply choose graphical packages in the installer. Very Arch-like, but…

Enlightenment was breaking the installation of other packages due to old and outdated versions that conflicted with other common applications. Arch Linux’s package manager keeps one version of each package, so Enlightenment installation was just not compatible with many of the common things we guarantee for other desktop environments. We removed it after repeated reports that it broke other packages. It can be installed manually after selecting no desktop. The Arch Wiki has a page on this: Enlightenment - ArchWiki
