I’m currently on Garuda, which is an excellent distro, but I recently discovered RebornOS and it seems to gel with my sensibilities even more than Garuda.
However, in Arch distros I like having system snapshots ready, and currently (to my knowledge) only Garuda offers snapper and snapper grub properly setup out of the box (EndeavourOS is only installing a couple of packages, and so it’s Catchy, but Garuda does it for you).
Does RebornOS come with such a setup ready to go?
Thanks!
I run both RebornOS and Garuda and if I remember correctly there is a tutorial on the Garuda forums for completely setting up Snapper even though Garuda has it preinstalled and setup. If you can’t find it I would create a thread there asking SGS about it cause I believe it’s his thread.
I’m familiar with Garuda and I have set up snapper in EndeavourOS, so I should be able to set it up just fine I think.
I was just wondering if Reborn has it by default
From your comment I gather it does not.
Thank you!
No I have timeshift installed myself.
