Hi all. I have been wanting to install Reborn OS on my computer for a while now. I finally got the opportunity today. To say that I’m having issues would be putting it mildly. I wanted to install Reborn over other distros for one reason. In the display settings manager of the installer there is a slider that compensates for using flat screen TV for a monitor. I works great. I tried and finally succeeded in installing KDE and when it was done and I rebooted there is not a slider for TVs in settings. So I tried to install the Gnome environment and that promptly failed because all of the files are not in the repos I guess. So I installed XFCE and that installation seems to be what I am stuck with until I find out where to get that feature in settings. What package has that feature in it? Please help me.
Hi @gavin ,
Can you post a screenshot of what you are looking for (the slider) here? If you are unable to, you can even use an image hosting site to link here.
I will have to reboot into the installer again. Give me a minute. I guess slider is not right. It is just a graphical switch in the display settings of the live iso.
What environment includes this “switch”? If it is in the installer then surely it exists elsewhere.
@gavin It is the Gnome Desktop which offers this, I believe
