Safe partitioning to lot losa data after a reinstall

Hi.

I hope you can help me understand some safe partitioning practice for RebornOS / Linux in general so that I don’t lose data in the event of a system reinstall.

I have created 2 data partitions, one for the system and the second one for my data
They are as follows:

I would like to know, is the data from my /home safe this way even after I reinstall the system? Or will it be deleted together with all the files in / ?

And if I reinstall RebornOS on the same partition /dev/sda2, will it get the home directory automatically from /dev/sda3 or will I need to manually point it there at reinstall?

Thank you very much for your help!

Moin,
If you dont format at Installation the data is safe.
you only have to integrate the partition as /home at install.
again integrate but NOT format the partition.
greets
