Testweise habe ich rebornOS mit cinnamon installiert und bei der Anmeldung die Option

cinnamon on wayland

gewählt. – BS ist in deutscher Version
das System erscheint, aber die Tastatur ist auf "US"eingestellt - unter X ist sie deutsch…

ist das so gewollt oder dem Status “experimentell” zuzuschreiben ?

in german version is installed in oracle-virtualbox.
the keyboard now is in “US” instead of “de” as on X

is that a bug or is that behavior wanted or owed to the experimantal status?

Wenn du sddm meinst der wird beim ersten Buchstaben der Passwortabfrage auf deutsch gestellt.

Ich vermute, dass es sich um einen Fehler in Cinnamon Wayland handelt. Aber ich habe keinen Fehlerbericht dazu gefunden. Soweit ich weiß, sollten Desktop-Umgebungen das vom Calamares-Installationsprogramm festgelegte globale Tastaturlayout verwenden.

I guess it is a bug in Cinnamon Wayland. But I did not find any bug report on this. Desktop Environments should use the global keyboard layout set by the Calamares installer as far as I know.

ok, that’s what I thougt about.
wayland is not stable yet and in vbox there are some more problems with it (e.g. sway)
also gnome on wayland doesn’t run error-free
