My apologies if this has been addressed before. I know someone else had this problem last August but wonder if there has since been any resolution. I’ve tried several times to boot an installation usb stick using Nvidia drivers but only get a grey screen. It will boot using open source though. Problem is that I have had no luck adding Nvidia drivers once I install it. Any one have solutions for either?

I may need to try that in the future. What I did was boot up the LTS version, chose Nvidia drivers and it booted without a hitch. However it did not install Nvidia drivers on installation and post install boot loaded noveau drivers. However I was able to install Nvidia drivers so all is well. Running like a top with Zen kernel.
