Plasma-meta / Flatpak

I would like to know if you or Arch switched to pushing Plasm-meta instead of the individual packages which included Flatpak which I had uninstalled previously? I ask cause a couple of days before the official Plasma 6.5 release I enabled the testing repos and tested out 6.5 which for whatever reason included Flatpak. Once realizing Arch used the meta package for their testing I rolled the system back and disabled the testing repos. I checked once back on the desktop and once again I was Flatpak free. I thought all would be good once the official release dropped only to find out today that Plasma-meta was pushed and now I have Flatpak back and cannot remove it cause Plasma-meta relies on it. These meta packs should not exist cause sooner or later there will be some kind of problem that either can’t be sorted or is harder to sort cause of the hoops one now needs to take to remove any programs included in the meta package without breaking the meta package.

In a nutshell is there any way I can remove Flatpak without breaking the Plasma-meta package?

Thanks

You can uninstall plasma-meta and then install the plasma group like this. One needs to look up what package in particular depends on flatpak. Installing the plasma group will give you that information

sudo pacman -Rns plasma-meta # When prompted, check the list of packages that will be removed, and then confirm
sudo pacman -Syu plasma
