Canon printer driver "cque tgz-driver"

After using RebornOS for a year and mostly satisfied, I installed it again. all the time my printer canon imagerunner advance c5535III runs and runs. But when i try to install the driver this time it does not.

The normally way is installing cque-tgz
The necessary command in the drivers folder as sudo is ./setup. This command do not work propperly, because the list of printers during installation is much too short. My printer is not included in the driver selection. So I take the appropriate ppd.instead.
It seems ok, everything is displayed up to the toner level, but the error is:
Inactive- filter failed

Trying to reinstall cque shows
localhost [127.0.0.1] 631 (ipp) openSpeicherzugriffsfehler (Speicherabzug geschrieben)

At the moment I take the pdf on USB and put it to the printer.

Did it run on Arch Linux / RebornOS before and stopped working after the update?

Its a complete new install, earlier it worked in RebornOS.

@semperlin Would you like to try this AUR package? uhasselt-print-canon. It is for a different printer in the same product range. There is a chance that this might work:

yay -S uhasselt-print-canon

It worked fine. Thank you very much. :+1:
