Removal of the Arch Linux community repository

Dear users,

The community repository was inactivated by Arch Linux. If you have the below lines in your /etc/pacman.conf file, you can remove them:

[community]
Include = /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist

Step-by-Step instructions

  1. Open an editor with superuser privileges for editing the pacman configuration
sudo nano /etc/pacman.conf
  1. Find and remove the below lines
[community]
Include = /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist
  1. Save and exit (for the above nano editor, the shortcut is Ctrl X)
