I wanted to try RebornOS again, but the latest ISO is 6 months old. Is the project still being maintained, and if so, would it be safe to install and update as is?
RebornOS is active. The ISO is not up to date with the latest, but the installer is kept up to date as it is downloaded from our repository by the ISO.
The RebornOS development group is focused on the new calamares-based installer.

I am sure nobody expects an ISO every month, but one every 3 months or so would be great. I re-installed Reborn yesterday and it took about 1,5 hours with my bad internet connection and 1042 packages the installer had to load from the internet. jm2c
@choulth I am sorry to know that. We’re piecing together our Calamares based installer which has an offline install option too and would probably release more frequently
