Tried to install packages, but they cannot be found using pacman; the packages are libreoffice/openoffice and even xsane.
Do repositoried need to be added, or does reborn not have all packages?
All the best - thanks for the replies and help.

Package names may differ. So you can search for them, like
pacman -Ss libreoffice
or (for searching the AUR too)
yay -Ss libreoffice
If you prefer searching on a browser, this website will help you find suitable packages: Arch Linux - Package Search
libreoffice specifically, has two options - libreoffice-fresh and libreoffice-still, which you can install like
sudo pacman -S libreoffice-fresh
Yjanks for the help.
Intersting. I was or tried to use “pacman -Q package“, taken from “man pacman”, but of course it did not show anything.

-Q takes the full package name and searches for it locally-Qs searches for a keyword in locally installed packages-Ss searches for a keyword in the repositories. This is what to use if you are searching for packages to installYou can either use these arguments withpacmanor with a suitable AUR helper like`yay` or `paru`
You can use the website if you have difficulty with them: Arch Linux - Package Search
