My Gnome desktop. With some customizing especially the dash to panel, and autohide for the panel. I did pin the most commonly used programs.

Finally i decided to migrate to Openbox from Gnome, but i have everything i wanted, lightweight desktop, simple appgrid and powermenu from Rofi, polybar with plank above and Openbox patched to tile with/on mouse drag.

btw. I was so frustrated by the application launcher in
plasma 6 that I did setup a plasma-sdk and altered the code
no more anoying menu hovering since then

Which application menu is that? I had to drop Tiled Menu cause it’s Plasma 6 version is missing too many settings. Thanks
