# \`RebornOs\` mate the screen went "black" after about 10 minutes

Ιn a new `RebornOs` mate installation, the screen went “black” after about 10 minutes.  
The solution I implemented:  
I created a hidden `.xprofile` file in the user folder (/home/user)  
and inside it I added the following:

```auto
xset s off

```

and it seems to be a correct solution.
