# Privoxy and permissions of /etc/privoxy/config

Hi all,

Have recently installed Reborn, and of couse installed packages, but am having difficulty starting Privoxy.

I have used ‘systemcyl enabke privoxy’, then ‘systemctl statues privoxy.service’ and am getting a failure message.

Apparently there is a problem the rgw permissions on ‘/etc/privoxy/config’ it seems to be set to 644 (dont quote me on that could be 640).

I have used chmod to change permissions to 744 and 755 but no dice.

It seems to have the same permissions as slackwares privoxy and I have even copied across slackware version but still bo deal.

Anyone have an idea?

Assistance much appreciated - its a show stopper for me!

PS I am on slackware at the moment, and will probably edit from slackware.
