# Printer installation error

• What is the printer’s model?

• Do you have cups enabled?

After running the status command this is what was displayed:

The printer is a HP 3700 series printer scanner

If you don’t already have it, install `hplip`

```nohighlight
sudo pacman -S hplip

```
