if I try something as su or sudo I get such an error: `sudo: /usr/bin/sudo must be owned by uid 0 and have the setuid bit set` anyone a helping idea I already tried to chroot and set 755 permission to /usr … and also chwon root to these folders, but still no change ---

Enter TTY with Ctrl Alt F3, enter the username as `root` and the root password will be your password. Then follow the instructions from Step 2 here: [root - /usr/bin/sudo must be owned by uid 0 and have the setuid bit set - Ask Ubuntu](https://askubuntu.com/a/471503) ---

Exactly that solved it, thank you so much !!! **Still there is something wrong** with my nodejs packages **since the last update:** ```auto maybe you also have an ide to that: Error: Cannot find module 'nopt' Require stack: - /usr/lib/node_modules/npm/node_modules/@npmcli/config/lib/index.js - /usr/lib/node_modules/npm/lib/npm.js - /usr/lib/node_modules/npm/lib/cli-entry.js - /usr/lib/node_modules/npm/lib/cli.js - /usr/lib/node_modules/npm/bin/npm-cli.js ``` as I go with npm start ---

Perhaps @SoulHarsh0071 can help better with NodeJS. Have you already tried to reinstall NodeJS? Sorry, I am unfamiliar with this. I’d wait for SoulHarsh to help… ---

yes exactly, the 2. time, you saved me, !!! I uninstalled nodejs, npm, typescript, yarn, then reinstalled, and it runs, still with some errors, but I am on it 🙂 ---

edit2: quite everything works again, but I have still one issue with dolphin, namely as I want to copy files I get: `The file or folder Message recipient disconnected from message bus without replying does not exist.` can anyone relate to that? thanks in advance! ---

just locally, and also disconnected any network links in dolphin, UNinstalled, reinstalled plasma-meta … and also googled a lot before asking here ---

Dolphin Version 23.04.3 I am usually on lts: 6.1.39-1-lts but also tried the newest kernel ---

Would you be able to try a different file manager to see if the problem occurs there too? Cookie might soon test Dolphin on their computer ---

already did, they are fine e.g. thunar, also made a new user, still the same problem, seems like dolphin does not have the rights to handle files ---

It does not have superuser privileges. Is any work of yours held up? If yes, I can suggest commands to temporarily complete what you want to do. Otherwise we can wait for @CookieSource ---

I got no issues but I also only use one network drive mainly pcloud ---

Now I was unsure about the state of my computer, permissions all over the root mount could be wrong, so I did a reinstall :-), thanks anyways!
